We get the old el paso kit as a base but add in spanish rice, refried beans, extra cheese, and sometimes ground pork to go with the taco meat in between the tortilla layers om nom nom nom and top it with sour cream and such. Matt doesn't cook but this is my comfort food and he makes it when I feel bad or in this case, Valentine's day! I have to admit, I'm usually too lazy to make it as perfectly proportioned as he does. I once told him in exact detail how I like my taco bake when I was zonked in the hospital so he wrote it down word for word including my directtive that if you forget sour cream I will shank you.
