I used to turk on a toshiba chromebook 2, and it was alright, but I don't think I could go back now....i've gotten used to having a decent number of scripts running and some other stuff going on in the background. The newer chromebooks may be more powerful, I haven't really kept up. You could also go with a cheaper windows laptop...
