JFC. So, so fucking dumb. I was typing this just for shits & giggles, b/c my opinion on it (granted I don't do them anymore, but when I did I knew what my strategy was):


Well, let's see. You've recruited a huge workforce and pit them against each other at $2 a pop so you could pay out as little as humanly possible. The most prolific workers are going to be the people who spend as little time as possible identifying the listing address to the bare minimum submission standard & then moving to the next, removing them from the pool of listings a more careful examiner can even get to in a given hour. Since condos tend to be exceptionally easy targets for mass identification they're going to be the first ones plucked from the pool by those same workers (and frankly, workers talk and this is not a strategy unique to my brain IME). Given the financial incentive versus time cost to find a unit # is disproportionately skewed to encourage people to NOT do them you're more or less fucked from the front door.

Then, IME at least, verifying a unit # is an art, not a science. This includes matching owner names to social media accounts, window angles to complex amenities, etc etc. As well as a few tools I can think of back when I actually did these that I wouldn't share with anyone because I know you put my proof in front of other workers who can then steal my methodology in order to increase their own hourly. Speaking of --- when you put them through the verification batches they get flagged by ... people of questionable motives... who want you to personally visit the unit, give the owner a rectal exam, and then submit blood work + a notarized statement of authenticity. Verifying a unit # increases the likelihood my account is flagged & qual revoked as the margin for error is higher for no extra payoff from the aforementioned tomfoolery.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Anyone with half a brain attempting to equalize their own earnings versus your profit margins (which you've continually skewed in your favor as time goes on, creating a selfish atmosphere instead of a cooperative working relationship) is booty blasting your ability to even attempt to have people ID unit #s. Even IF you add all the tools & widgets & gizmos folks are asking for they're likely not even going to get to see the HITs to begin with.
