I do when I have them in the back of the car for trips (I use a dog kennel so there's room), but Bearnie will wait to we get out and pee in the grass. (I leave a towel on the seat just in case he ever has an accident tho). He used to dislike being picked up when we were walking, but realized it meant he could just flop in my arms instead of walking when he was tired or freaked out, and now I can tote him like a baby if I need to. I really need one of those baby slings for him HAH.

I don't walk him in certain areas because we have some shitty people around here too. Off leash dogs don't bother me if they are friendly, except that I have that shitty neighbor with the dog who flat out bit my dog, and that dog makes even me and Matt nervous AF, so I have to check if the dog is out or not when I want to walk the dogs/cat past there because I basically have to walk past it 90% of the time ugh.

Spoiler: I wonder how that dog always gets out hmmm
