There really isn't one. They do not get along well. I tried for a month to get PS controllers to work with my retro arcade and steam. Kinda sorta got it running but only on a wired connection and it would frequently stop working. Finally gave up, bought an xbox 360 controller and adapter and it was all up and running in less than 5 mins.

I thought that windows had native support for the ps4 controllers now? Or if not there is an actual sony driver.

Not as far as I'm aware. In fact it's like MS went out of it's way to make it more difficult to use them just because they are sony. Windows 8 and above will support xbox controllers natively in wired or wireless (with dongle) and it works flawlessly.

 

Well if you are trying to use a gamepad on windows you prob have steam installed anyways...

But you can prob just download the same driver steam pushes out fairly easily.

I know, just saying. There are probably a decent amount of people who switch from PS4 Overwatch (Talking about the game here, turkers) to the PC version who've never even heard of steam

My problem was that I couldn't even get Windows to recognize that the PS controller was even plugged in. It wouldn't come up under gamepads at all. I may have to try again if Steam has recently started supporting it just for research sake in case my xbox controllers die since I don't actually own an xbox lol.

Does PC Overwatch have built in controller support? If not that would further complicate things. I wish Hearthstone did. As it is I have to run controller companion out of steam to use it like a mouse when I want to play that. I wish they'd make a console MMO. Blizzard I mean, not just in general lol.

I think it only natively supports xpad type controllers
