    hi guys I got these in the mail! do you guys know what I should do? there are words all over the boxes and on a bunch of papers in the boxes. can I just plug them in then call comcast? or do I have to push some buttons or do things in a specific order or something?

    The left is a modem+router.

    You want to get a normal router or wifi router + the modem you have on the right.

    also the fact that she bought two modems... Those 2 in 1 units are so bad and I don't know if they would even work correctly plugged in like that.
