A lot of HITs ask for a lot of things, suppressing wage information never really works out for workers (see: OMG DONT DISCUSS HOW MUCH YOU MAKE WITH YOUR COWORKERS AT UR JOB!)

Trying to decide if I want to honor those kinds of requests or not. I lean towards not for the above reason, and because I don't trend towards believing a bonus is a huge motivating factor in which HIT some jackass is going to scam in many cases.

But maybe I'm just sounding the death knell for coin flip tasks on mTurk

My take is that they can QQ more for the most part as they could just hide the bonus until we actually get it. I wouldn't trust the average turker to stay away from talking about the sweet bonus that they just got.

Not sure who likes AdsForce but they have some new ones I sort of like that can fill your time. Helped my PE a little today too considering I wasn't catching anything but trashy 1.20/40 minute or worse hits..

 

normally no, and most tasks aren't as potentially profitable via bonus to make this a meaningful factor.

This task, I'd argue more so is a yes.. they explicitly ask not to.

They pay extremely well.

The bonus earned from the task is likely part of what's being tested etc.

I'm just choosing to honor what they asked for this specific survey.
