There is a thing in the industry know as a "cowboy coder". People who look really smart on their own turn out to be extremely dumb when they have to scale up to larger project. Cowboy coders end up just working on one thing while teams of smart people build and useful shit.

 

He isn't talking about kad.

 

Because they're good at the part of marketing that gets some people 'hooked' - the "WORK FROM HOME BE YOUR OWN BOSS" lifestyle. That inflated self worth projection makes .. some people .. fall into the belief cycle.

Once you have to sit around them for any considerable amount of time it becomes fucking annoying.. but its good marketing to draw a low level following.

 

They both get really mad when I poke holes in their logic.

I am actually looking on youtube on ways to improve my performance and there videos came up so i thought hey i never heard of them maybe someone knows what they are about...i seems to me youtube is not the best place to look for advice on how to become a better turker it seems...

 

Here is a sample of dealing with Adaaaam....
SAJ : Hey man when i get done with helping my friend in immigration court I'll text you and treat to lunch....SAJ goes into Fed Court House

Adaaaam : calls and texts SAJ all morning while SAJ is in a Fed Court Room and says later " you should of answered my call no matter where you were my time is money"

That was the end of SAJ trying to deal with Adaaaam because SAJ knew he'd beat his ass on sight.

There are likely almost zero useful turk related youtube videos on the other hand we have lots of people on this forum that do well and actually do help people if you are actually trying to improve your turking in a legit way.

You are using hit forker or hit finder right? (well forker pairs up better with PC so I suggest that)

 

I forget what forum I was on at this time but later that night he legit tried to convince the forum I should have answered phone in the court room

 

Honestly, the best way to improve your turking is to stop trying to extract the answers from someone else.

mTurk is highly individualistic. If you can't look at the platform, figure out what parts you suck at and what parts you're good at you will always be at the mercy of someone else handing you something and you'll always be capped as far as your earnings go.

Those folks you're following around don't ever ask hardly anyone for an answer about mTurk. They definitely learned from others who came before them, used their tools, etc etc. But at some point they stopped extracting value out of others & did all the self evaluation that separates people dicking around from people making real $ on the platform.
