Crazy suggestion, get a table! I used to use a card table when I lived in my one bedroom and was able to stick my laptop and second monitor on it!

 

when I clean my disgusting apartment, I'll send you pictures and maybe you can work some magic. I can't figure out where I'd put it when I still want to be able to see the tv. If I made my husband clean up his office, I could use his massive desk and I'd just have to buy an AC for the summer....And figure out how to watch tv in there...

Yeah, make him clean up the office, no reason you shouldn't be using it considering he's usually off at work. My home office is the bomb.com. I have a tiny ass desk and the cats cause mayhem but it's my work space and I love it.
