    The bigger error is they should've only had synthesizers and not full blown replicators in the pre/TOS era.

    Yeah I watched discovery to the point that they stopped and haven't watched more. I suppose that I should be tbh it isn't nearly as good as the previous stuff.

    I just love it's not a reboot but an addition to the whole timeline. I really don't like when they do prequel stuff with more modern effects and some of the theoretical technology depicted in the TOS actually being real it kinda takes some of the fun out of it.

    As far as salt goes well he is an alien and maybe he has high sodium dietary requirements :dunno: and some weird tastebuds
