    I've thought about it, especially since I also have a roku in the bedroom and I wouldn't mind streaming to that as well, but I'm hesitant because the computer that could handle Plex with no problems is on a wireless connection. My HTPC is wired, but it's also a refurbished PC that's almost ten years old * and is going to need a few upgrades before I start doing anything other than music.

    *The model is that old, but I got it a few months ago. It was either a decent refurb, or it was never used- it still had the plastic film everywhere. Got it for a decent price, so no complaints here.

    I've got a media server that's basically running off a wireless connection (plex as well) and I have no real issues. Unless your wifi is like 802.11b or something. Also if you media is encoded right it doesn't need to transcode for the roku, so you don't need a beefy machine. (Just something with disk space)
