But yeah, I'm super lucky that this is literally a couple miles from my house. Living in the mountains has some downfalls, but the ability to go hiking so close to home is a really nice perk.

 

I love the mountains but yeah I live in Michigan I really need to move though lol

that's exactly how i feel, but it felt too hipster to say it and didn't want to offend you if you liked the newer stuff haha. i got annoyed with everything he did after haunted because he tried way too hard to be edgy after guts took off the way it did.

and nope, i missed the guts readings. when i saw him he read from diary and a story about his dad's murder (i think stranger than fiction maybe?), another time was an unrelated short story, and another time was just a straight up signing and a little q&a. i knew times were changing for him after guts when the previous time i saw him, he stayed 8 hours past the signing time just to make sure everyone got what they wanted including pictures and anything signed, then the next tour was that you could only buy a presigned book and attend the reading. but at least i got a picture of him groping me with a severed arm before that nonsense haha.

So cool seriously, lol yea it does sound hipsterish but its just my opinion. I still buy them and try to read them. lol you can see him get a little offended when Joe mentions Chucks state city of Portland as being "hip".

I love being able to add new spots to my list. I've trekked pretty far for hiking before and I'm sure I'll travel even more in the future. I can't get enough anymore Mountains, trails, lakes, oceans,kickass rocks, trees, etc are all just too addictive for me!

Fall up north is so pretty

It is worth it, it's absolutely gorgeous no matter the season. If you can take a detour to pictured rocks (if you consider 3 hours to be a detour) , I highly suggest it!
