There was an attention check hidden in the what the study is about section at the end of the survey. They aren't even instructions. Is that even fair to do?

 

today I was asked to type out the words that were handwritten on a picture of a post it note. It was like 2 full sentences. It was absurd. It was the dumbest anti-bot check I've experienced yet.

We have a small one, but when the power went out after the hurricane last year, I made an off the cuff comment about how I wasn't sure I could power the fridge along with enough other stuff and the next thing I knew, I had like 4 Georgia boys putting a generator big enough to power most of the house in the back of a pickup and dropping it off on my porch for me. I've never been as thrilled to see a bunch of dudes in camo and cargos mobilizing to power my fridge and wifi for me lol.

Hurricane LPT: Make friends with the fanciest (this is my polite way of saying rich) person you know so you go hang out at there house with a backup generator and a big ass flatscreen while a sweet old lady feeds you soup and wine.
