That reminds of this dude I was dating, and at some point we went to TTT's in Clemson (it was not @ChrisTurk ), which is a fairly low key place. I had a happy hour drink and we shared a sammich. We kiss goodnight, everything seems good.

Well, I wake up at 3am, he's drunk and texting/calling about how I did not say thank you for the drink and he's PISSED. (I apparently thanked him for the date but not the drink or...something so asinine I cannot remember years later) Now, I calmly told him that I'm 99% sure I said thank you because, well, I always say thanks when somebody saves me 3.50 for a cocktail, ya know? But, I had no clear memory of what happened cause it's pretty reflexive for me to thank someone for a drink and I re-thanked him and apologized for forgetting, if that had been the case. And then I asked WHY THE FUCK HE WAS CALLING ME AT 3AM ABOUT THIS- YOU LUNATIC. He was not satisfied with my apology.

He was very confused why I didn't like him so much after that (he asked me out again, I declined) and to this day, Matt will sometimes be staring at me in the middle of the night and just go, "I don't think you said thank you when I opened the door." He'll walk up behind me when we are with friends and go, "I gave you a bite of my pancakes yesterday, and you didn't apologize cause you're such a Grinch." Matt is DELIGHTED to do this. He thinks it was the pettiest possible thing and thus has to re-enact it. I'm not sure we've ever explained to anyone we know WHY Matt does this to pull my leg, so it's just turned into that weird way Birdie and Matt are flirting again that nobody understands.

I've been away from mturk for most of the year. Are people still using PC? How many jobs are reasonable to have on? I can't remember how many I used to top out at and that was before the switchover to the new site anyway.
