09/13 - This Turkers Work Thursday

in other news my garage door was recent replaced for a cool 1k+ and the mother fucker was fucking crooked, and they came to look at it before I left for work (literally 5 minutes before) and told me my house is crooked. I didn't have time to decide what to do about it...

So the girlfriend started posting about it on social media in our neighborhood and this happened

I'm sorry, I misunderstood, yeah fuck those people, may I ask, do you work in a hospital?

 

yes I do, but I do not interact with patients (for my safety and theirs)

 

I was in for a week about a year ago, I was like a celebrity

 

Ooo sorry to hear that, I avoid hospitals like the plague (....err, being a patient in them?)

 

So I've never been formally diagnosed, but there's a history of manic depression in my family too, and I've always thought along the same lines for me.

There are some days where one *tiny* little thing just spirals me into basically not leaving bed for a couple days.

Like it is a triggered thing for me, but it can come from really benign little day to day things, and suddenly I'm just a broken human for a little bit, and much the same.

Being a people is hard work.

Thankfully, good stuff happening seems to really curb (though not eliminate) the things that push me into those shit places, and while stressful along the way, I think my life's on the path to a pretty big turn around atm. So I'm spending a lot more time excited, and having normal people stress. Which feels kind of nice.

It was not so bad, the hospital room was bigger than my apartment.
only 6 days, but I knew every nurse, blood taker, w/e by first name in two days, and calle them by it, I know it's a small thing, but really it's a big thing, cuz everyone likes to be remebered

 

Avoiding the plague is also a great way to stay out of hospitals (and/or CDC quarantine).

 

I'd swim the English Channel with my legs tied together with barbed wire and Rosie O'Donnell's queefs in a used, inflated condom as my only source of air, just for the opportunity to eat dinner with her over a walkie-talkie.
