They can't infringe on your other rights, including spousal privilege. You could also not tell her anything if you're super worried, tell her to check the account and she can just know that way. But in your case, I wouldn't be worried.

 

In what world would they think anyone's wife wouldn't see the paychecks going into the bank accounts?

I kept separate bank accounts with my wife because we actually had one of those weird circumstances where filing taxes separately was better and she still knew what was going into my account.
