Matt forgets to pay his own bills like 80% of the time. He got sent to collections over a copay recently. A COPAY. He just never opened the envelope.

I open most of his mail (anything resembling a bill or timely info) and pay a bunch of his bills using his own credit card, cause he's just lacksadasical AF with that stuff. He's much happier this way. I'm an authorized user for most of his accounts, and he just gives companies my phone number instead of his.

His mom used to do that, and she still tries, but I will CUT HER- back off lady, you're not the number 1 female in the pecking order anymore, stop snooping on your son's credit card bill and then calling him over a purchase you don't like.

I hear ya, just always safer to assume (in this day and age of the interwebs) that any employer may deep google you at any time. Helps to just go with subtlety cause you never know when someone is, in fact, paranoid. I don't think I've had to sign a salary nda EVER and neither has Matt. We've both signed NDAs, but never about salary- the world is full of many different folks and strokes tho. I would just err on the side of caution with how easy it is to backtrack most people on the interweb and how long that shit can be there for is all.

Overbearing mom?

EH, I've experienced my fair share of them. They were sharing credit card rewards for a long time, so they had a joint account, until she started sniping all the points for herself for free flights

She's also just a snoop

 

I have signed more confidentiality agreements that did not have these exemptions than did (granted, none of them were about something as stupid as paycheck amount) but this is a really risky bet to be taking with someone else's job --- presumably if they're having him sign something that dumb, they are that dumb, and will enforce something that dumb.

I'm not trying to be a jerk, but throwing out legal protections he most certainly does not have (not only b/c he isn't married, but because they simply don't apply here) & making assumptions on the wrong side of cautious is unfair to some college kid who is already more prone than most to be taken advantage of and/or make mistakes.

Is he more likely than not to be fine because expecting a spouse to not know her hubby's income is retarded? Yupp. Should anyone here be telling him that? Nooooo

Easy to say if the company is so shit they'd fire him for telling his gf/fiance/wifey how much he makes then he shouldn't work for them anyway --- not so easy to replace that income if it vaporizes for some oddball ass reason.

This please? He signed an agreement, far better to abide by it than just be like "LUL LAWZ" since its "not a big deal" anyway. Its great practice for when it actually counts if nothing else (no one ever had a SO argument over work before? Bless me with your relationship skillz)

 

Yeah i dunno how that AC works. I'm sure there's plenty of people who have never been bitten by a dog, and there's probably some idiots who probably think they haven't been bitten by an insect too.
