Honestly I believe that he does that, I don't think he thinks that's how the process works, but he just does it that way because he can I guess? Laziness, forgetfulness, or just a fuck it attitude. I honestly don't know. It's dumb. Very stressful for all his employees, yet he doesn't give a shit enough to change.

 

I mean, he lived on his own until he was...28ish? He can take care of himself if need be, but just HATES IT- I don't mind tbh, really only cause there's a fairly equal division of labor and I haven't had to change my own oil in several years cause he just does it. I CAN do it myself, but I'll gladly pay the bills if I don't have to do that crap myself (I also recently forgot I even had car insurance, cause we have a shared policy and I've somehow paid it without realizing it was also mine, derp derp derp). I just mind his mom all up in my bidness

I'm really shit about remembering to do things like that on time as well, but I have an app that dingalings me when bills are due and I have a list by hand on the fridge, so I'll get it done at some point before it's late at least lol. He's been the worst about all the hospital bills and having to get a bunch adjusted when they didn't run the insurance, so I ended up just doing it, cause he's way busy at work right now, and he will never remember to call a company during business hours. Easier if I just deal with being on hold for 20 minutes

We have a shared family plan with his mom for our phones (cause it worked out cheapest when we split it 3 ways and I'm paying like 20 bucks less a month woo) and she texts me how much the bill is and when it is due EVERY MONTH, only the bill is the same EVERY MONTH. YES DIANNE! I KNOW I HAVE TO PAY IT BY THE 6TH! I PAY IT EXACTLY ON THE 6TH EVERY SINGLE MONTH! STOP TEXTING ME EVERY WEEK ABOUT IT!

It was technically a cardiac arrest without a heart attack (yeah, I'm special, not really lol).
