    I mean, tbf, my phone wasn’t fucking cheap either, but I use it a ton and I’ll use it till it dies just like I did my last iPhone.

    I don’t begrudge people whatever purchase makes them happy (within reason folks lol). I consider it fully not my bidness what phone anyone else here uses or why. If you like it, good for you! That’s about all I have to say about that.

    I happily drive a Jeep old enough to vote. I have a decent phone that I use a ton that was stupid expensive and I don’t care. I bought a pair of new shorts with pockets for 3 dollars yesterday clearance shopping, which is practically free if you ask me. I sometimes buy very expensive shoes. Different folks, different strokes or whatever.

    Back then phones weren't really considered a necessity of daily life, though, were they? How are you supposed to check your Instagram/Facebook/Twatter every 5 minutes on rotation without a smartphone?
