My pup is half pit and my friend got her sister from the same litter at the same time. When he was moving and trying to find a new apartment he had to have the vet document her as a hound mix instead of pitbull mix because people would reject as soon as they saw the breed.

 

I just received an email back from Eric Vorm about this mornings rejection. He asked for my worker ID. I sent that as well as a screenshot of my search showing I had never done this hit before. I honestly did not expect to even hear from him. Crossing my fingers and will let you know what happens.

 

My sister had that problem when her vet wanted to list her dog as a rottweiler mix. She insisted that it be changed to lab mix. Unfortunately my dog is 100% pit and can't really be mistaken for anything else. Not going to stop me from insisting he's a Boston Terrier with a glandular problem if I'm asked, though.
