The secret is to wash off the fart juice. You can see it. When the beans are being rinsed, all these bubbles come up. Those are the farts. Rinse until they are all gone before making the soup.

 

that one looks nice, but the smoked hocks at my grocery store tend to be waaaay over-salted, so i can't imagine using 3 or 4 of them for a pot of soup

 

I'm not sure honestly. But from the survey description, it sounds like it won't reject the pre-screener.

Some surveys will, but as long as you pay attention, and make sure of what your doing you should be fine, some take a couple hrs to a couple of days to approve. Also watch out for those attention checks, they can be very sneaky, and sneak in occasionally.

OH GOD.

We do an overnight soak on all beans and skim most of our soups too! We just need to eat more beans so our bodies get used to it. I just have to deal with getting randomly dutched in the night!

Damn, that's a shame! Our butcher is very very light on salt something something he has minor health issues and he knows that the grocery store is used by old people so he uses the least amount possible.

I made charro beans today. Got some tamales at work yesterday, so I made the beans with some pork belly to go with em. Mexicans really know how to do beans and pork correctly.
