when you accept a study from a university, you are acting as a research participant for scientific/academic research

universities are ethically obligated to protect the rights of their research participants.

therefore, they oversee the research done by universities.

So, if Wharton promised you a bonus as payment and you failed to get that payment, you can tell the IRB that you weren't paid and they will investigate it.

 

No clue if you're trolling him, but for anyone who is reading this random ass convo & doesn't know Wharton is super reliable about bonuses & has been for years despite this convo being a regular occurrence for some odd reason


I'm sure each lab has their outliers, but for the most part they're all good for the $.

I did: Task Name on Task Date. I was promised payment in the amount of: $bonus amount.

This amount has not been paid to me. I would like to resolve this concern and be paid the promised amount for my work.

I've told UNU to just funnel any bonus that isn't $2.00 to @Girl Polar Bear in an attempt to change her stance on badges

 

The majority of mine have not paid, and nope, I will just not work on their tasks, that's all

And I would think I would be allowed to mention that they do not pay

I call bullshit. Perhaps you keep failing the QC and losing out on the bonus or various other reasons.

 

You can, and are def encouraged to report it on TV if you have the spare time in your day to review the HITs, because then I can give more accurate representations of the requester to the public at large.

But all I have is the data I have, which says they're generally good for it. I was just throwing that out there as nuance.

Also now I'm going through and updating all my bonuses to see if there is more than one in there LOL
