11/30 - Fickle Friday!

I can see pretty well out of my windows at night and I usually leave the blinds open in my office when I'm waiting for Matt to come home. Also, I do what I like.

 

You know what I just realized? There's 1 year member badges, but there aren't 2 year member badges. @ChrisTurk why would you do this?

 

How's everyone doing tonight?

 

We never had blinds growing up. My mom said blinds and fully closed curtains was "too of much an American" thing to do.
Fiance and I are always fighting over the blinds in this apartment now because I want them drawn up or open and he wants them closed.

I think we will have this battle til the grave.

 

Maybe they took that falsehood of sunlight disinfects literally?

 

This sounds horrifying, to be honest. I wouldn't know what to do if I couldn't close my curtains, or didn't even have them.

LOL. I read somewhere that sunlight was good at helping to disinfect laundry. I hang my towels and sheets out to dry. I am hoping my washing machine disinfects them, but I love having the sun help. And I adore the smell of wind/sun dried towels and sheets.

I will tell you it is a great bleaching agent. My whites are ULTRA WHITE after I've left them out a few days. (
