    I have citrus cleaning spray, so maybe I'll start with that! I also read citronella does the same thing.

    I have always had cats. I have never had a cat interested in the Christmas Tree itself. A few low hanging ornaments? Yes. The entire fracking tree? No. I know it's common, guess I've been lucky.

    Gunna go spray citrus cleaning solution on parts of the tree now. Probably should turn it off first, eh?

    my cats get so offended when they smell anything citrus. they look at me like i stepped on their tail whenever they smell it. one of my cats gets pissed off with mint, but another loves it, so... no idea.

    If it's a live tree, I would try it on a small branch first to make sure it doesn't discolor the needles since citrus is acidic :emoji_wink:

    It's fake.

    And I'm out of my citrus cleaning stuff. Just have citrus dusting stuff so...I'll search the garage for my citronella tomorrow or go buy more orange smelly stuffy to add to water.

    you know, like orange peels, lol.

    Still can't believe it took me all day to figure out why the tree looked...odd .Because it's fake many of the branches bent all weirdly leaving humongous empty spots that I was scratching my head over.

    Oh, I have to add I'm a little sick. Caught what the kiddo had. I opted to skip out on the Lights Parade my city does every year this time. My kiddo still went on a "date" with his Grandma so that is awesome.

    Not if you're about to tell me that will ruin them, lol.

    I read that mixing a couple of drops of citronella oil in a spray bottle of water will create a smell cats dislike.
