    Um, yeah, parties were big time when I was corporation and dot-com. Your stories don't surprise me. But peeing on beenie babies is just wrong, no matter how drunk you are.

    Once the company rented the penthouse at the Fairmont. We broke the damn fountain. Whoops. It really was a drunken accident. I heard that cost the company a bazundle of money. THEY STILL KEPT PAYING FOR PARTIES WHERE WE GOT DRUNK. :dunno:

    Other times we had Nerf gun wars in the middle of fancy restaurants. Again, drunk, with toys.

    Damn, looking back, I partied my ass off before I had kids!

    tbqh $80 in hotel drinks in 2 hours is unsurprising. Long Islands are like $12, good single-malt is $30/shot. If someone was up on the good wine and whiskey they could carry along the peans slurping discount $9 bud lights.

    I loved band! I was first chair clarinet all through school. I was the only middle school student they asked to go with the high school band to Mardi Gras and perform. But my aunt hated me and refused to let me go. :( Still haven't been to New Orleans...

    Our drinks were $6-8 and beers were $5-6. Signature drinks that came with a free glass were $8.75. This was Texas around 2004-05, so prices weren't that crazy. You could get a high end scotch or bourbon, but really people came to the place because it was one of those 50 story towers that rotated. It's been sold to Wolfgang Puck since I stopped working there, so it probably cost waaaaaaaay more.

    I disagree! I used to stand in front of a crowd and I could barely hold the microphone. It took everything to keep it from shaking between my fingers. I never got over stage fright. I did this countless times...I still get anxious...:(

    Now you guys are making me sad. :emoji_disappointed:

    I got to go on two trips when I was in band and they were basically 3 days of partying. We went to LA and got to perform at Disneyland. They had this tour where we got to go in the recording studio and learn how they do compositions for movies. Then we did a performance at some outdoor restaurant place and got to be in the parade the next day. 10/10 band trip.
