I just contacted him and told him what happened! I'm usually good about looking at times & making sure HITS don't expire, but I missed that one!

 

LOL he's not "in your face" about it. But, either way, the man knows what he's talking about. At least, it worked for us. The mortgage will also be paid off in less than 4 years instead of 9 if we keep doing what we're doing. I'm so excited!!

 

Your forecasts should be starred, click on them, then just reset your percentages. Make sure you click Save though, and know that you'll have to provide an analysis again too.

 

I did, but it's not in the tutorial. I also clicked update on a question, revised it, saved and it still has that in my bar.

 

Do you use CreditKarma, or any other sort of monitoring system? I would be curious to see if this debt is still reporting... I find it odd that after 4 years they are just now coming for it. If you dont have CreditKarma, I swear Im not a shill, but honestly, everyone should use it. Fantastic free credit monitoring and allows you to always see your score.

I would start with CreditKarma, but then followup with the company that claims you owe the debt to make sure you actually owe it. I would treat it seriously since it could go to collections if they dont hear back in a timely fashion. Again, 4 years is weird....

 

when I did the surveycomet a few months ago - many people had different versions of the website.

For me, there was no easy way to do it. I had to find the question again in the list of questions, and load it up from there.

 

I still have a credit agency trying to get a medical debt from over 10 years ago. Like.... If I didn't pay it while it was ON my credit report, I certainly am not going to pay it now that it's fallen off.

Credit Karma is good for what it is. The credit score isn't exactly accurate but it is still useful to check history on stuff like you are suggesting and any sudden changes ect.

 

I put together a TV cabinet yesterday that I bought for $109 on Amazon. It took four hours. My wrist is aching and that's not helping the computer usage here. I hate moving.

Exactly. You are entitled to (1) actual credit report annually from each of the three creditors annually for free. Worth a check from year to year since its free. CreditKarma is VERY simple, but also very good at monitoring for recent changes. When i apply for new CC's i find out almost immediately via app alert and email that somebody pulled my credit.
