Hey, when we had an in-house guy our stuff ran smoothly. Now they put all the IT guys in one building far away from here and now our stuff goes down all the time and it takes them 11037912 years to fix things.

I know we aren't the only office they're helping, it's just frustrating. Especially when they respond with "did you turn it off and back on yet."

LOL the answer is always yes. I often start conversations with them by saying, 'x is wrong and I have already done x, x, and x. pls send the troops.'
It's bad because now people in the office come to me asking me for help with things and I've started asking them if they've turned it off and back on yet, they give me dirty looks. 9/10 times a simple restart fixes the problem, but it's still annoying to hear.

Maybe I should have asked IT to turn the server back off and on for us.
