01/02 Workflow Wednesday - Turkernator Release

Thinking out loud here about TV review and return, feel free to skip past...

I think I'm a bit more willing to write in surveys than a lot of people. Sometimes, I see the writing review and returns and am pretty surprised. Like, if a $1 HIT takes 3 minutes and that includes writing, isn't that a good deal? There's definitely a difference between that and a $1 HIT that takes 8 minutes and requires writing. Sometimes the HITs require only a sentence, which is barely writing at all, so that barely counts for me. I almost wish I could set a preference for my writing threshold and only see warnings for those that fit. But I don't know how that could be feasible.

people will return writing anything even 30+/hour, just block return reviews from people who return all writing.

also don't take too much stock into what a return review says.

Those settings are definitely set it and forget it. I had to go looks to see what I had mine at since I never change it. Turkernator does a good job of balancing all of your page requests since it controls all of them and can even prevent unnecessary ones.

If you're talking about smart watchers that turn themselves on and off, on the long todo list. You'll have to check in on the watcher page once in a while to kill old surveys and stuff for now.

I just downloaded Turkernator and signed in. I am not seeing any hits. Do I need to pay first? Can I just try it out for a day, is that possible?
