03/14 - The White Day Tuesday!

These are so boring, but amazing for numbers.

 

That was me last month, I decided to get the one with decent hardware but a meh keyboard/monitor since I work in my home office with nice externals most of the time. I justified the 200 buck monitor and I still want to puke a little.

Eating is overrated! I'd rather blow half my paycheck on sephora and a monitor (which is totally what I did this month.)

I keep telling myself a better computer set up means better productivity thus more money but its still going to hurt when I finally do it....probably in a month or so.

Do you care about gaming? If not it would be pretty easy cheap to build something if you are okay with some used parts.. You could get a very similar setup to what I have for ~$200-300

 

That's a good justification! I have made slightly more in the last month than I did on average for the last 6, so the faster computer definitely helps. And not to mention spending less time fussing over tech issues. Some times you just gotta eat the cost, even if it's giving you anxiety. I'm really glad I upgraded, I'm sure you will be too!

no don't game just need more memory than I have. my biggest concern is being able to run a lot of tabs at once and I multitask a lot and some of the things I do seem to use a lot of memory Google earth, in particular, is always shutting my laptop down but it's not the only thing.
