Tbh a lot of it is because while I don't work an insane about hours that reddit seems to slave away at and then end up with a few shiny rocks... I am always around with my scripts searching for hits....but most of that is passive so I can dick around on the computer or w/e..

Basically my tip would be to try and optimize your workflow for mturk so that searching for hits doesn't actually take time and is basically passive. One good way to do this is to use Hit Finder and enable TTS alerts for your include list. (You can also use overwatch but ideally hit finder alone works better). With the TTS alerts you can more easily passively watch for hits while you do stuff.
