    I can agree with that statement as my very first HIT ever completed resulted in a rejection, requester also according TO scammed quite a few workers... It was my welcome to mTurk here's your first rejection!

    Mmm can't really say for sure. 30-day AA, the handful (~200-ish before their servers went down) I did on 3/17 are still pending. Seems to be communicative as they answered a couple people here that emailed 'em. If you're worried, don't do more than your <99% worst case scenario can handle.
