Low carb was awesome for me. Really effective. That first week getting over the cravings sucks though. Meat is super expensive though, so I'm trying the whole calories in/calories out thing. 2 days down, 2 days over my allowed amount.

So here I sit, drinking my sad water.

 

Any suggestions on easy quick on the go breakfasts for low carb?

 

OMG THATS AWESOME. Barf is the worst... until you get the skunk :/ My kids are obsessed with the game and I've literally puked into the trash can on more than one occasion and yet I keep letting them torture me. Pairing them with CAH is freaking GENIUS!!!

I made the brilliant decision to start right before Halloween.

I always kept cut up low carb produce in mason jars (spinach and mushrooms mostly) and then just threw some in while cooking eggs in the morning. But that's not really on the go.

Probably something like hard boiled eggs, beef jerky, cubed cheese. Those are more snacky than a real meal, but they'll fill you up and are easy to take with you.

I make my own breakfast bowls with eggs, bacon and cheese. Although, usually I just fry up bacon and eggs. I also make hard boiled eggs for the week so that if I'm really in a rush, I just grab those. Breakfast with low carb is my favorite.

 

...I need this. Thanks for the the idea!

One of my things is I pre-make breakfast tacos and freeze, then reheat and go. I'll make a full dozen eggs with turkey sausage, peppers, onion, hot sauce, whatever else I feel like throwing in. I was sad that trying low-carb meant not doing this, but Mozzie may have just saved that idea for me. I used to do a lot of those "overnight oats" things, but ... carbs.

Sad water is the worst type of water.

Oh yah, it's a 2000, but treat it well, and I'll get 300k or more out of that engine. If the frame wasn't such a rusty mess, I'd make some mods and toss 5.7 V8 into it. VROOM!
