How frustrating! First of all you shouldn't have been able to play by yourself, and yes, you should not have lost everything on every round! Now I'm kind of doubtful I'll even get my bonus.

They don't pay taxes because they spend their earnings. And they carry their losses over year after year. They do pay sales tax, employment tax and all that fun stuff.

If you take all your money and spend it on things to make you turk better like a computer, an office, etc - you won't pay taxes as well. It'd be dumb though.

 

I don't pay anything on my Uber/Lyft earnings. Thank you mileage deduction, Spotify subscription, and car wash subscription.

 

It's more that you can deduct the loses from previous years. Amazon has only been profitable for a few years now. It was part of their plan to sacrifice profits for growth and shareholders were okay with that. Retail has razor thin margins, too. It's why services and content are a big part of the company now.

 

I just about bought a new mouse after being so frustrated with current one double clicking in games and just acting overall funky, turns out mice need software updates lol. Not I'm loving my corsair scimitar(not sure which kind but I can change the colors)

 

tldr: understand the business model before yelling?

 

Maybe that's what my Corsair needed... But I gave up on that one anyway... I just prefer my Logitech G-600.

 

I'd be willing to bet Amazon doesn't pay taxes for a few more years. Thanks when they'll switch from deducting previous loses to hiding their money in other countries like everyone else.

 

Anyone have advice on why I'm only getting like 80-90 down on my new desktop with a brand new ethernet cable and good router? I've tried updating the drivers. My phone just clocked about 10 more down on a speedtest and that's over wifi. It's a gigabit connection and I've done all the troubleshooting I could think of(I will try resetting my router again just in case after this chat HIT)

It's connected to a Nighthawk R8000P that is up to date.

I figured it out. The router set my desktop to a medium priority. I changed it to highest and just got these results on a speedtest.

EDIT: after it restarted it just set them all to medium but the same results. It was giving my chromecast super priority over everything else.
