I'm pretty sure they are. Whenever Google does a press event and Assistant or any other sort of voice software is involved, the presenter always talks about how they did research on thousands of people saying "okay Google" at various dialects, volumes, etc in order to perfect the software and teach it to distinguish multiple voices. I'm always like "hey, I helped design that!"

Jesus, HS just went nuts. It's been kinda silent for a bit but then I got like 5 surveys in a row.

 

My Mom got me an Echo for Christmas (bit early.. but whatever).. I love it, but man I really want a Google Home so when it doesn't quite understand me I can say shit like "I helped create you, I can destroy you!"

.. I like my AI personal assistants to be a little afraid at all times. Keeps 'em from going all Skynet on me in my sleep.

 

So I bought something on amazon and used my amazon payments acoount. Yesterday I noticed they charged me twice. I call Customer service and talked to James. He talks real calm and slow. He said "yeah, one of those charges will get credited back to your account in like 3-5 days, well business days, so like 2 weeks. If you could this from my side it looks real cool. Yeah it's cool."

Anyway, I have the Google Pixel (which I'm sure also used the Jamelio data) and I'm 100% certain the reason why it works so damn well (at least at understanding what I'm saying) is because I spent so many days say "okay google" and whatnot.

As far as not doing what I want her to do...that's because she isn't as good as Siri...yet

I got one as well. I love it. So far I have it tied to every single light in the house as well as my thermostat. I REALLY want it to be able to preheat my oven though.
