I have a question/comment about the rules.
I understand that survey content is not allowed to be posted on the forum
But survey content contained in reviews posted to the forum is?
I mean some of these reviews mention attention checks, or the lack of them, among other things and those posts stand.

Sorry, I'm not trying to be the hall monitor or break balls or anything, just something I noticed.

Okie dokie... had a particularly gruesome hit. Maybe I'll export it with a huge disclaimer ... gonna think about it ...

 

I almost 90% edit out anything about smoking (assuming I see it) b/c it's still illegal in plenty of places & if it's anytime during normal business hours I may/may not edit out anything like that just on a whim of cleaning up the joint ayyyy lol

Same applies to lunch wine/beer tho.. i've nuked convos like that before.. that day there was a survey that forced users to drink a beer DURING THE HIT really screwed up my day.. so much anxiety >.>

 

Saying something has attention checks (while not really helpful to the review, because most surveys have attention checks, come on) isn't really survey content. Saying "question #6 on page 201 of this bubble fest is an attention check" is against the rules.

99% of surveys have an attention check. Purely referencing an attention check isn't a big deal in my opinion.

What is a big deal is saying something like "There's an attention check on the 3rd page and the answer is banana"

Also anything that can mess with the research itself such as, "press Ctrl+F to cheat"
or
"I think the red one was the best but the blue one was cool too!"
or
"If you read the disclaimer at the end, this wasn't a real scenario and it never actually happened"

 

Because really you should assume everything has attention checks anyway tbh.

Or rather, you should be giving surveys your full attention and not just using that one extension to highlight the standard attention checks while you randomly fill in the rest of the bubbles.
