I've had a $100 day once in like the 2 years I've been turking... I set a modest goal of about 30 or so a day and I lose a lot of steam after that. 99% of my work done on MTURK is surveys so that's probably why. I can never seem to land these elusive batches. Some good ones pop up occasionally but they don't last long.

 

Applying for a hiking permit 3 months in advance and they told me to only apply for one single day, via fax...goody. Here's to hoping the weather is good the second week of September and nothing goes sideways! Watch my permit for a weekday get kicked back.

The only time I used to get like $2-300 days was when the OCMP75's let you do full queue at a time and bonused you $1 for each completion. I don't mind some of the batches other people dislike (kasisto, 5s etc.) but I lose motivation so quickly.
