Hi all! I have a brief moment to be online here today. I think I've earned like $15 total turking this week and that's only because I do it early morning before anyone else is up.

My Auntie is in a Hospice House right now. I found out I also have POA for her, but I need to talk to the lawyer who did her trust so I can finish up some things she didn't finish up and so I can make sure I'm *legally* accessing her funds. But that's not so easy because while the lawyer totally believes me that she's unable to make decisions for herself now, he can't discuss her case with me until we get a letter from a doctor stating she is no longer capable. So I'm just waiting on that and scrambling to locate all of her assets (which are substantial, I don't want to miss one) and keep her bills paid.

It's. Not fun. But I'm happy to do this for her as she trusted me with all of this and I'm also doing it for my cousin once removed (her grandson) because I want everything done correctly for him and to ensure he receives everything she wanted him to have.

tl;dr: It sucks when someone isn't able to make their own decisions and you're the person with POA.

 

Do they have poop patrol too and an app to report the poop the the patrol?

 

Specifically in the stairwell of a BART/Muni station.

I got stuck in Oakland before I had to catch a flight from SFO - was gonna catch the BART across the bay and my credit card wouldn't work. Was not pleasant.

 

That is so 1997....they have moved on to sidewalks where cafe tables are set up and such.

 

Some stations are still nice, some not so much. Some are downright not where you want to be breathing air.

 

Sweet! I can eat my Mission burrito with the aroma and ambiance of a true San Franciscan.

(Great, now I want to go clear to SF just for one of the fabulous burritos. That I could probably find here if I hit up a taco truck, but I prefer them in SF.)
