    Okay. So I'm not totally making this up? That one stuck with me because of the very low number of hits they had done, and they thought that was PLENTY to prove they were a good worker.

    Yeah it might have been a troll but people used to get masters at low numbers. Most likely mturk changed how they handed it out as I haven't heard of that happening recently.

    My 3rd hot take of the day is that anyone who thinks this isn't a skill all by itself is a fool.

    I could spend 3 hours trying to remember enough math to calculate a median, then try to put it into a js function

    Or I could spend 10s googling the problem and not have to go through that traumatic time in my life.

    You can use javascript to do things like hide unnecessary elements, scroll to a certain point of a page, preselect a particular radio button option, bind keys to particular actions (e.g. submit), etc.

    I recall it happening once years ago. I just remember people Grinching about it on Reddit and other Mturk forums.

    Paul Conway [A3OBF3TLWIUEKN] Personality Psychology Class Survey ~15 minutes, $0.50 - $0.50 | PANDA

    Underpaid

    Unrated

    Unrated
    $2.89 / hour
    00:10:22 / completion time
    Pros:
    Nothing.
    Cons:
    Bubbles upon bubbles followed by logic problems and then more bubbles. Half way through it started asking questions about how you react in school and class, yet it did not say anywhere you had to be a student to take this. I only finished to warn others.

    Qualifications: Total approved HITs >= 50; HIT approval rate (%) >= 95; Location EqualTo US;
