    Random but I wanted to share something I consider a humongous parenting success. As a parent, it's common to feel like you're just not doing things right, common to wonder if you're raising your kid to be a good human...basically, doubts are common.

    Today, while driving kiddo to school, I received validation that I'm doing it right.

    He sang along with me to The Eagles Hotel California and also to Queen's Another One Bites the Dust.

    I felt very validated as we were singing together in the car and I realized he knows the words. I'm doing parenting right!
