Such gentle dogs. I hate how much of a bad rep they get. Shitty owners that cause them to do that or inattentive parents.

 

Bearnie and Holly are ferals, as well, but have decent manners now since they've lived with me for so long. Porgy was born to a feral in my bathroom, so he's basically a furry baby who thinks I'm his mom (his mom didn't stick around much). Scraggles is 10 and has been feral so long, that I'm just impressed he's sociable, but his manners are atrocious. Sheila is finally comfortable enough to socialize, so she's becoming an adorable PITA, and Coug is still afraid to be near us for very long, but is dark like the night and sneaky AF, now that he leaves my office.

Trying to play catch up with autoscroll is fun...

We did have chickens for the past couple of years, got rid of them last fall though. They have a coup in polebarn as well. BigBoy, the cat, never bothered them, he was raised around them. Babs, as well. The chickens didn't run free since it's a garage/workshop as well as the barn. It wouldn't have been hard for them if they had wanted to though. A couple of times a bird got loose in there overnight. She was just fine sitting on the ground next to the coup the next morning.

 

He's the sweetest thing with me, but he has trouble with other people. Mostly he just tries to stay right under me all day.

 

Will get one up as soon as I can.

The herd, several years ago. All are gone now besides the small orange and white in the back. That's BigBoy, he's huge now and is the one that lives in the barn.

 

Sasha is half pitt/half coon hound. Friendly? Beyond that, absolutely loves 98% of everyone she's ever met. Gentle? Lol nope, hardly. She's a 73lb lap dog and just generally doesn't know her own strength at all despite having good intentions.
