    I made a souped up butterfly house as a kid. My third grade teacher was married to the middle school tech teacher and so we built our butterfly houses with the tech class. It was super fun and I got to help the kids build one when I was in that tech class later on. It was very wholesome and sweet.

    That is sad! Kiddo had those, too. All of his hatched. Was kind of cool.

    I was not so fond of the ant farm he had for a while, though.

    Yay!! I planted a butterfly bush right where my washer drains so it's growing amazingly well, since I am really good at letting plants die. It's talent.

    my brother caught like 10+ fish at our cottage when he was a kid, put them all in a bucket and promptly forgot about them so they all suffocated/burned to death in the sun. :oops:
