My furry children are monsters right now. And I swear, the next person to explain to me that they could somehow tame aggresively feral cats faster than I can will get a ...very dirty look! That was actually a conversation Matt was forced into. His coworker told him I clearly just don't know how to discipline my street cats.

My oldest nephew was a bit delayed in developing proper speech, but that's because he was super shy and didn't talk much and his mom didn't bring him over to play with his cousins who are basically the same age so he could get practice talking etc., but most will be forming full proper conversational sentences at around 4 or so. By conversational, I mean they're going to ask you "why?" five billion times when you're trying to explain that you're trying to grind out a batch of 5s and don't have time to play.

Instead of generic baby noises when I was born, I apparently said "o", which my mom ran with and said my first word was "oh" and it was when I was like a minute old.

"You said your first word seconds out of the womb and you haven't shut the fuck up since", she used to say.

 

Add to your spreadsheet: I spent an hour and half at the doctor today. Cost after all the tests/meds? $1750. Just to find out, in the TL;DR version my kid has fucking heartburn.

 

My furry child won't stop eating my polka dot plant and fern. So I grew him some cat grass to eat instead. He just fucking ignores it. So now I have fucking grass growing as a fucking houseplant like I'm a pregnant sailor or some shit.
