What is this "nap" you speak of?

 

I know these are not exactly the same but from what you're describing I think that you may want to look into Teamviewer ( a free app that works as a remote desktop). I use it a lot when I'm away from home or downstairs and want to check on Hit Finder to see if anything has posted that I need to get back to my computer to work on. On my main setup, I have two monitors that basically show three full-sized screens on and I can see all of them with Teamviewer and act accordingly. I don't have it running constantly though. I just check it periodically. I may be misunderstanding your goal but thought I'd throw this out there anyway.

 

Not quite sure but I'm told I need one when I'm grumpy.

Have you tried teamviewer? That's what I use to remote control my home comp while at work. You can also try turkernator, it cost $10/month and depends on how you turk on how useful it is to you but it can auto grab hits from your favorites list and has an app that can alert you when it sees favorites and you can manage your watchers (re: pandas) from it as well. I only have about 7-8 hours a week to actually sit at a computer and turk so I need to make every minute I do count and with these two combined I can make sure that every time I sit down I have things waiting for me to work on.

That's more what Troy was talking about upthread, but yeah, that could be useful. But I don't plan on using this away from home at all, just around the house in short periods, so spacedesk is probably a simpler option. thank you for the suggestion, though

Yea, I have a pretty massive favorites list going. Anytime I see a requestor with a history of high paying hits they go in. I try to catch as much as I can from solid requestors and decide if it is worth doing once it is in my queue. Requires some active panda management but what doesn't! It is also very handy to load up with good closed qual requestors so you not only know right away that they posted either something you qual for or an outright qual test but it auto sets up a panda for it. I have gained several good quals in the last few months this way. I'll take my testimonial fee now @Kadauchi
