Not quite missing person mystery but a couple weeks ago some little girl died at school after getting into a fight. Like.. shortly after the fight got a headache, passed out, and rushed to a hospital where she didn't make it. Everyone has been SUPER tight lipped.. no words from teachers, schools, nadda.

Today the state announced she died of "natural causes" ... after passing out shortly after a fight...

I've never been down w/ conspiracy theories, but folks are maaaaad & idk how anyone with a medical license could see the sequence of events and be brave enough to go "nah, totes no way they had anything to do with one another" actually blows my mind. Had some kind of brain thing burst and that "no way" being slapped in the back of the head for "only 5-10s" could have had anything to do with it. Feel like you'd be better off to hedge your bets juuuuust a little bit on that one :/

 

My old roomy was like that...all meat well done. I finally got smart and started buying the cheapest shit for him and burn the shit out of it when I cook mine No point eating pricey cuts if you really wanted charred shoe soles

Exactly! I told him if he didn't get it burned, he wouldn't even need steak sauce. As it is, he bathes it in A1.

 

For realz though - a cut of steak is relatively safe to be "undercooked" (rare-medium). Bacteria can't penetrate the mear so you're good as long as you get a nice sear.

Also, sushi is heaven.

I read that. They claimed she had zero signs of trauma from the fight. Except that whole pesky dead thing.

 

News article says she had a birth defect and they found no trauma, though. I mean I know little girls slap hard and all that, but they were like 10, not grown.

Oh man it's a shitshow. All the stuff that doesn't make the news makes it all 20x crazier too.

Yeah but what average citizen is going to listen & believe a girl who just got hit in the head (multiple kids in the classroom have been reported as saying she hit her head on a bookshelf) and then drops dead shortly after have absolutely no connection whatsoever? And how could anyone possibly know that to begin with? I most def don't have a medical degree, I recognize it MIGHT be possible, but I don't blame a soul for not believing it lol.

If it'd have been like a week later? Alright, sure, that's real shit timing but could just have likely been jumping up & down on a trampoline that ruptured it. But passing out less than an hour or w/e later? I'd need some charts or diagrams or something to wrap my head around how someone could be so confident they have absolutely nothing to do with each other

Be like if some kid slipped PB into a lunchtime snack of a kid who is allergic.. sure, they died of "natural causes" but UHHHH
