LOL, you would think there was more. Not really. He lived there a for a few years before we were married. He feels bored coding in the states....he said Ecuador, I said rural France. He won.

My mom has beautiful curls, tbh. She just has self hate big time and changed her name to sound more white, so that's a whole thing. I love my hair at this point, cause I see other girls spend a lot of time and effort to make their hair look more wavy/curly like mine. It's a little work to keep it nice and healthy, but I don't mind, and Matt will finger comb my hair out if I ask. I did get told that exact sentiment before, tho, and it was mind boggling cause at thay point, I had very neat curls and would always pin them back from my face at work. It usually ends up looking a bit more formal than messy, and I stood my ground when a supervisor made snippy remarks. Same supervisor also told me very modest dresses weren't as professional as pants (he would criticize skirt suits and such, too, and I stood my ground on that one too- ended up switching to a different internship where I never had a problem with that again, luckily.

Rural France: Not as poor, in a first world country, people are more likely to speak English

Will do. Maybe she will calm down on the shedding since she is getting more comfortable with us and the house. Otherwise she is going to be bald because that was a crap ton of hair on my sweater when I picked her up.

(to be honest, I'm for this. I think sister braids are the most beautiful hairstyle I've ever seen and wish I could do them but I had some of our tenants tell me they weren't "allowed" to wear them to work, along with dreads, or any braids honestly.)

Now I'm imaging this to be like a sitcom. The Odd Couple but in prison.

 

In France they speak English, but choose to speak at you in French instead because they're assholes.

Depends on what exactly his type is. Most of the time only medical inmates, max inmates (murderers, rapists) and pedophiles are taken out of gen pop... soooo what are you suggesting here??
