Matt came home and asked, "What did you get up to today?"

Well, I don't wanna brag, but I spotted some crane nests like a badass. What did you do?

Matt: We took the citation to San Luis Obispo for brunch and ice cream! Had to talk to someone there, so we figured we'd make a day of it. Winds were kinda bad, only went like 330 on the way back.

Yeah, that's cool...I guess. If you like flying a jet to the coast for brunch and ice cream as part of your job. If that doesn't seem like a lame job. Which, it totally clearly is.

 

I figured the cranes thing is part of some project to help observe crane populations in the wild, and is thus part of some sort of conservation effort. Lots of leaps of logic here, but sounds about right to me, and thus it's cool in it's own way. Probably what the baby seals were about too.

 

naw, @Girl Polar Bear hired them to help find lunch
