    Pork is pretty safe these days, and doesn't have to be cooked to my mother's hockey puck standards...still wouldn't raw dog it, but I'll go to medium on chops and med-well on loins or thicker cuts.

    I did a survey recently where I was told to imagine I was visiting NYC, and I wanted to go to some store/restaurant that sold "safe" "raw cookie dough" for consumption, and write about my experience and my feelings. I wrote that I would feel stupid because I feel perfectly safe eating raw cookie dough and I wouldn't pay a premium for fake cookie dough.

    speaking of pork. My girlfriend has taken up cooking as a hobby which is pretty fucking great for me usually, not always. She does this thing with pork chops where she totally cakes the outside with cinnamon. It gets really crispy on the outside - almost like it's breaded with delicious cinnamon. The insides stays really fucking juicy. It's so fucking good.
