Palmetto Armory blems built by the husband so I don't know the fucking specifics. He managed the entire thing to come in at about 800$? We can't even find the blems on most of the things we got. He's the gun guy for build, I just clean and shoot! Holy shit though, we managed to get a RO1911 for 600$ that had maybe 10 rounds through it ever.

This is why I don't trust people and firearms lol I hate going to open ranges because there's almost always some fud doing something stupid.

 

Man I need to go to the range but we can't afford to any time soon.

I had a Para-ordnance double stack 1911 and loved it but the mags were $60 each. I had an STI (Very High End competition 1911) on layaway before all this mental stuff hit. I gave up my CCW and sold most of my collection to pay bills. My favorite gun off all though is a Glock 23C (Compensated) with a mag extension (2 extra bullets) and a nice trigger job

I bought a good high powered BB gun for cheap shooting when I don't feel like spending tons of money on ammo. I shoot beer bottles and cut apples in half with it. Not the same as a 9MM but still some good cheap fun.

 

I know!!!! - It's crazy expensive. I have a friend that owns several hundred acres and we used to go it there and he had his FFL so we shot full auto H&K MP5's and AK's but we would police all the brass for reloading. You can go through a box of 9mm in a HK5 in like 5 minutes!!

I got a super high powered varmint pellet gun and was shooting it at a plywood target on a metal shed. It went through the wood and all the way through the building lol. We were out on my friends farmland tho

Oh man, I understand selling for bills. We've almost had to a handful of times but managed to not. I'm sorry to hear about giving up the CCW and that situation, but what's right for you is what's right for you and I applaud that. My current favorite of ours is that HK VP9 we got a while back, shoots like a dream but damn is it a pain to clean when you get in her guts. Everything we have is single stack because of my tiny lady hands. We wanted to make sure in case of any situation it would fit well enough in my hands for me to feel safe using it. We have the tiny Ruger EC9s in the drawer next to me in case anything happens. He has his CCW but I need to go get mine when we can afford it.

Keeps up the aim too! Not the same, but better then not using them for years on end.

The last time we went to the range we shot a good 100 rounds for 80$ using factor blems. That's our go to for practicing now because we can get a box of 350 for super cheap. You don't realize how fast time goes when your letting loose down range and all the sudden all the ammos gone!
