Noted — and yes of course, even while I'm running any pandas, I do continue "staring at the scraper".

I sometimes forget about changing group/hitset IDs, but yeah I've noticed how pandas can struggle with frequently changing IDs.

I'm also aware of (but haven't yet tried) PandaCrazy's "Delayed Ham" mode, which IIUC uses a search to discover an ID, and then HAM's on that ID for a bit, and then searches again in case the ID may have changed, etc. ... I'm still a n00b so I haven't learned much about that yet.

IMO PandaCrazy's user-interface design makes some features a bit confusing (for newcomers). Some reading and re-reading of the documentation can help somewhat.

I'm NOT an expert, but I seem to remember reading somewhere that PandaCrazy uses HTML scraping — whereas a hypothetical modernized rewrite (that doesn't currently exist) could instead use the APIs (JSON?) more efficiently ... sorry I don't know the MTurk APIs, so I can't speak from any expertise of my own.

Oh Warframe players, they just had a new update come out and some new frames. I'm reinstalling it tonight.

 

Cool I'll have to take a look at it again in more detail.

I read somewhere that writing your own "auto-accept" scripts to fill up the queue might be against the TOS... I might contact Amazon and see if anyone will clarity. If Pandas are okay, I really don't know why having an automated process to rank and grab HITS would be different.

My previous (now edited) comment was accidentally unclear. I didn't mean to imply that a new and more-efficient API-based rewrite of PandaCrazy exists – it doesn't yet exist AFAIK. — It was just something someone pointed out COULD be done someday. — Not my idea, someone else's (I don't remember whose).
