I should add that I'm well aware that such surveys do have a (presumably legit, in most cases) real research purpose. ... I'm not questioning that purpose, or whatever science the researchers are striving to pursue.

OK ... I should also add that I don't mean to "call out" specific requesters (although I almost inadvertently did, when I described some content from a specific HIT, but that was just in order to explain my more general point).

I'm NOT criticizing any requesters' research intent. I'm just noting how some surveys fail to allow respondents to express some legitimate points of view. Sometimes that's a flaw in survey design. Sometimes it's an intentional limitation with legit research purpose. — Either way, I'm not here to "shame" or call out any specific requester. So (any requesters reading this) please don't take it that way.

If you wanna get into it too; some of them are intentionally leaving out options so that the research comes out in a certain direction.

I can't cook to save my life. Like I'd starve without boxed food were it not for my husband. I tried to make pancakes the other day from scratch and they came out salty and way strange tasting. Pre-made or I starve yo.

I assume scamming as in shitty answers and too quick of responses, or something that auto-submits tasks at a stupid speed. But IDK I have no dog/cat in this fight and I am making no claim that IC is doing anything improper or scamming.

I blew my diet today. I'm so ashamed. I had two pieces of papa johns pizza, a large order of chik fil a fries, and a swiss cake roll. I couldn't decide what I wanted and it was all soooo delicious. I have lost 12 pounds this month and just felt like I wanted junk food. Oh well, tomorrow is a new day, right? RIGHT?? I need validation, tell me I'm not a failure!!
